Mentees pay the mentor's rate for the length you book. The total at Stripe checkout is what you pay for that session (AUD).
Platform fee is a percentage of the session total, set by the mentor's MentorMate plan — commonly in the 5–15% range. The mentor receives the rest. The book flow shows the split for your booking.
Subscriptions add tools, limits, and (for mentors) lower platform fees. Unless we run a stated promotion, plans do not make 1:1 sessions "free" — you still pay mentors per booking.
